Four jobs, forty-three modules, one loop
Most software owns one stage and hands you the rest — which is why you still need an agency to operate it. βWave is organised the way the work actually divides, and the stages know about each other.
-
Produce — it makes the work
Sources · Generate · Content · Site. It reads the material a business already has, writes in that business's own voice rather than a template with the name swapped, keeps a content library, and builds and publishes real pages. Divergence between clients is the point of a managed service, not a defect to be normalised away.
-
Reach — it puts the work in front of people
Discovery · Social · Syndicate · Schedule · Shop. Nine thousand organisations and seven and a half thousand contacts, segmented by trade and postcode, de-duplicated on the way in. Publishing runs on a schedule, with approvals where a human should stay in the loop. Publishes are recorded as confirmed or failed, never as attempted — 1,487 confirmed of 6,931 attempts to date, and the gap is visible rather than rounded away.
-
Respond — it handles what comes back
Respond · Bookings · Invoices · Commissions. Replies and conversations, meetings booked into a real diary, invoices raised, and an affiliate commission ledger that pays people correctly. This is the half almost nobody automates, and it is the half where money actually changes hands.
-
Measure — it checks its own work
Reports · Search Console · Citations · Local audit. Including a live audit that loads a site in a real browser at phone size and reads it the way a search engine does. That exists so a claim can be checked rather than asserted — the same reason stage labels here are only ever set by something that actually happened.
Three things it deliberately does not do
All three are standard in this category. All three are why people distrust it.
Rank tracking
Google has no rankings API, and scraping results breaks constantly and breaches their terms. Where rank genuinely matters it gets bought from a provider whose business that is — it does not get faked here and presented as measurement.
Thinking, by the hour
Competitors in this category meter the agent's working time — one charges $19 an hour, about £3,400 a month to leave it running. An autonomous system that bills you while it runs is selling you the opposite of autonomy. Self-hosted, βWave's thinking costs whatever your own hardware costs.
Paid audits
The market price of a local audit is zero, because a dozen tools give one away. Charging for the diagnosis and calling it strategy is the oldest trick in this industry. The assessment is free; the work afterwards is what costs money.
On your machine, if you want it there
βWave can run entirely on hardware you control, against a local model, with your client data never leaving the building. That is not a privacy flourish — it is the answer to the question every serious business asks about a marketing platform, which is what happens to my customer list if you go under or get bought.
Or we host it and operate it for you. That is the managed service, and it is the same software either way.
